The Yuen Shin Park is a pleasant area in which to spend some time relaxing amongst the trees and flowers. It is accessible from both On Po Lane and Fu Shin Estate where you will find restaurants, fast food outlets and convenience stores.
I chose to start from the On Po Lane end.
The park is small but well maintained and there are are plenty of sitting areas where, despite the fact that it is close to a main road, you can relax and enjoy your surroundings.
The entrance to the park is beside the Tai Po Telephone Exchange on On Po Lane
The footpaths and gardens were well maintained throughout

Seats everywhere!

At one one point there is even a small sports ground with shaded seating for the spectators.

Shaded sitting out areas for the elderly

Then we came to this playground area. Can you imagine the children’s delight when their parents bring them here?

There was a well appointed and hygienic public toilet to the left of the playground and, continuing onwards, shortly after we neared the end of the walk

Entering Fu Shin Estate
We ended our walk at Fu Shin Estate, where, as mentioned, you will find restaurants, fast food outlets and convenience stores.
The Yuen Shin Park is a beautiful place to visit. There are many sitting out areas and even one place where you can sit out on the grass. It is, in fact, part of a much larger picture, and this will be explored in the next part of this series when we visit the adjoining Yuen Chau Tsai Park.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoyed this post.
