Stewart Goes Walkies is pleased that our reader and friend, David Muir, has sent us another contribution.
Introduction
Apart from being a hiker, David is also a keen mountain biker. This route is one that he did a few years ago from Mui Wo to Pui O.
You can see David’s earlier contributions here: Ngong Ping to Shek Pik Reservoir and the Ngong Ping Cable Car Rescue Trail.
Additional information
The Hong Kong Government has improved and expanded the Mountain Bike Trails (MTBs). Readers interested in mountain biking on Lantau Island should look here and here.

The Route
Sights and scenery along the way

Sadly, this is something that I have noticed in my rambles. People need to be constantly reminded not to discard their rubbish. Likewise, dog owners need to take more responsibility for their pets.

Apart from the route itself, the scenery is quite spectacular.
Local natives
Then, nearing the end of the route David met some of the local natives.
And finally, the man himself.
Thanks, David. Stewart Goes Walkies is grateful for yet another excellent contribution.
